Get your career off the ground.

It's true: Texas employs the highest number of aviation mechanics in the country.

Propel into a bright future.

As an Aircraft Powerplant Technician you'll learn to inspect, maintain and overhaul engine systems to ensure a safe flight. At TSTC, you’ll get the hands-on training to learn the job and work with instructors who have years of aircraft industry experience. In just four semesters, you can complete your degree and the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) required training. And, with just two additional semesters, you can double your opportunities by also completing the Aircraft Airframe Technology degree.

TSTC is a leader in the state’s aviation mechanics industry. But don't take our word for it. Ask the hordes of TSTC graduates working for companies such as American Eagle, L-3 Communications, The Spaceship Company (for Virgin Galactic), Southwest Airlines,Texas Aerospace and government agencies including the Department of Defense, Homeland Security and NASA.
