Be the gatekeeper
to the internet.
Increasing bandwidth is just part of your job. You have
a whole network that relies on you.
Access to the world
begins at your fingertips.
Can you imagine a world without Internet on your computer at work, your tablet at home, or your mobile phone at the mall? These devices don’t magically “connect” on their own. Network technicians make it happen. They safeguard the network, ensure traffic flows smoothly and maintain reliability and security. As a network technician, you can have the skills and knowledge to be valuable in literally any industry that needs to stay connected.
As a student, you'll gain more than knowledge and skills, but also a host of industry certifications to add to your arsenal. While at TSTC, you have the opportunity to earn the following industry recognized certifications: CompTIA Linux+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CCENT (Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician) and CCNA R&S (Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing & Switching). In this industry, the more certifications you have, the better your chances of finding a great job.
