Graduation Requirements
Students are notified of their eligibility for graduation when they meet the following requirements:
- All necessary course work required under the
student's degree plan is satisfactorily completed with grades of 'C' or
higher.
- All Texas Success Initiative requirements are met
(Associate degrees only).
- All necessary course substitution and/or transfer
credit authorizations are on file.
- All financial obligations to the college are
settled.
- At least 15 semester credit hours or 25 percent of
the total required credit hours, whichever is greater, were earned at TSTC.
- The student's grade point average (in all
college-level courses) is a 2.00 or better.
To obtain a diploma, a student must complete the graduation survey and
application online. Diplomas are issued after final grade have been
recorded on the student's transcript, the student's graduate status has been
certified, and all financial obligations to the college have been settled.
The application for graduation has changed. Here are the steps to access it:
· Go to
https://webadvisor.tstc.edu.
· The graduation application is under Academic Profile.
· Click on Application for Graduation, then complete and submit it
· Go to Program Evaluation and print a copy for review
